Michael Priebe
Michael Priebe has a broad background in corporate strategy, government relations and issues management. A former domestic policy adviser to a previous Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Michael has held a number of high-level advisory roles that saw him regularly interact with senior corporate and government representatives from across the globe. Michael has a strong understanding of how political and regulatory developments can impact listed entities and market participants. Michael leads Statecraft Financial’s macro-political intelligence research capability for market analysts, traders and investors.
Gavin Melvin
Gavin Melvin is an accomplished financial media and investor relations practitioner. He advises on financial communications and investor relations for market participants across a broad range of sectors, including retail, resources, banking, funds management, private equity and infrastructure. Gavin has advised on IPOs and capital raisings, M&A transactions and corporate restructuring programs. He was part of a team that developed and executed a major realignment strategy for an ASX 100 company following several unexpected profit downgrades.
Jason de Sousa
Jason de Sousa advises market participants on legislative, political and regulatory risk. He is a former adviser to a previous Australian Finance Minister. Prior to joining Statecraft, he helped establish and build the Australian practice of a global economics and finance consulting firm. Jason applies his extensive experience in advising clients on legislative, regulatory, and political risk in debt and equity investments, privatisation transactions and M&A transactions.
